Homeschool

Feeling good. Finally decided on the homeschool group to join. Talked to a Mom in the group today and I am excited about all the group had to offer. Curriculum is purchased.

Ouch!

I’ve always been a bit of a klutz, but this is ridiculous! I missed a step leaving the pool yesterday and fell on the pavement. I sprained my right ankle and cracked a toe on my left foot. Ouch! It really is funny when I attempt to walk and try to limp on both feet. It probably wasn’t the best idea to hobble around at the concert last night, but it was worth it. Thinking lots of ice is my plan for the day!

McDonald’s

This discussion about regulating what McDonald’s sells and how they advertise is driving me crazy!! I don’t care if they sell fried lard in the shape of Mickey Mouse. I am the parent, it’s my money and I know how to say NO to my children.

The Little Things

I appreciate the little things people do that help make my day easier. 1. The lady at the post office today gave the kids stickers to help keep them occupied while in line 2. When I asked for two lollipops at the bank, the teller took the time to find two lollipops of the same flavor.

Shellfish

Will NEVER eat shellfish again!! Three times in the past 6 months, I have eaten shellfish and had an allergic reaction. The third time happened tonight and I am now convinced it’s not a coincidence. I did a little research and learned that shellfish allergies develop in adults. Wierd.

Bad Days

Reminded today of what a huge blessing it is just to have healthy children. I’m a little emberassed for complaining about “bad” days. I wouldn’t know what to do without my little ones even on the whiniest of days.

Really hates that tears and/or punishments have been a part of the bedtime routine for the past week. When will this phase end? It makes an already tired mommy want to cry too.
