I took the kid’s to the mall last weekend for the Arrival of Santa.  Yes, it is very early to start thinking about Santa.  But, it was something fun to do.  Ethan was way more excited than I thought he would be.  He jumped up and down and yelled in excitement.  And that was before Santa came on stage!  Santa arrived and the kids went crazy.  He read a book which was an interesting listening experience.  It was strange to see Santa but hear a very strong southern accent.  As Santa made his way in the mall, kids rushed up to give him a hug.  Poor Ethan didn’t get a chance to get to him in time.  He was so sad and cried actual, real tears about not being able to hug Santa.  I couldn’t believe how upset he was about Santa.  So, Nana C, Megan and I stood in line to see Santa.  Brad arrived just in time for all of us to see Santa.  Megan was excited about seeing Santa until it came time to sit on his lap.  She grabbed onto Daddy and didn’t want to get near the jolly old man.  Ethan sat on Santa’s lap and told him he was sad because he didn’t get a hug.

Santa:  What do you want for Christmas?  Ethan:  You know.  What every 4 year old boy wants, a scooter.  It has two wheels in the back and one in the front!  Santa:  Ok, sounds fun, what about your sister?  Ethan:  She wants a baby doll.

Ethan then gave Santa a big hug and the night ended happily!
